The
catalytic converter (cat) is often perceived as an enemy
of power, leave it to BTG to change all that!
The latest
performance innovation for all Turbo versions of the
PT is the BTG
CatSync™
System.

The
BTG team searched long and hard for a catalytic converter that
would do it's job without restricting exhaust flow or
power. Through
this research and development process the BTG engineers discovered
a unit that is uniquely synchronized to the flow characteristics
of the 2.4 liter Turbo powerplant.
The high cell
count cat uses precious platinum to obliterate the unburnt exhaust
gasses as
they pass through it's chamber.
The
inlet flange uses a matched port to evacuuate
the gasses in a manner that minimizes turbulence and passes
them throught
to clean mandrel bends of T304 stainless steel.
If
you already own either of the venerable BTG Cat/Back
systems this is the
next step in a performance upgrade. Connecting the CatSync™
system to a non BTG exhaust system may require a minor
adjustment of the inlet pipe of your exhaust system
that any competent muffler shop can perform.
The
faster moving gasses translate into quicker turbo spoolup thereby
minimizing turbo lag. The final piece is hand polished for a lasting
luster. The Cat comes
with a 7year /70,000 mile warranty.
Combine the
BTG duals, CatSync™ and Primary  downpipe & you will have
peak torque almost 1000 rpm sooner than stock! This
