Privacy & Our
Subscription E-mail List —
Subscribing
to our Email Lists: You
will not receive any email
news or advertisements from
us unless you have joined
one of our email lists.
We use an "Opt-In"
e-mail subscription system
for all of our emailing
lists, which means
that you must ask to be
placed on our mailing list
via one of the subscription
forms on our web site.
We do NOT automatically
add anyone to these lists
when an order is placed
on our site.
Removing
yourself from our Email
Lists: You will
always have the choice to
"Opt-Out" of any
e-mail campaign that we
have by simply clicking
on the unsubscribe link
at the bottom of ALL our
e-mails.
If
your email client is not
set up to deliver email
to you with "live"
links, then you can copy
and paste the unsubscribe
URL into the address window
of your Internet browser,

you will then be un subscribed
from that list. If you have
subscribed to more than
one of our email lists,
you would need to unsubscribe
to each one via the supplied

can also just forward any
email that we have sent
to you from an email campaign
with a request to be un

will promptly take care

Depending

a final email from us confirming
that you have been removed

bank via the Verisign
Secure Payments System.
We do NOT store
your credit card number
or expiration date on our
servers.
4)
When you subscribe to any
of our e-mail lists, we
need only your name and
an e-mail address -- which
we use to periodically send
you information. We
may also notify
you about important functionality
changes to the Web site,
new PT-Tuning.com services,
and special offers we think
you'll find valuable.
If you would rather not
receive this information,
we provide an "Opt-Out"
(unsubscribe) link at the
bottom of each e-mail message
that you receive.
5)
We monitor customer traffic
patterns and site usage
via third party statistics
services to help us develop
the design and layout of
the store. These services
collect visitation data
by means of tracking the
viewing of a transparent
image that is attached to
a page-identifying javascript
code on each of our site's
pages.
This
tracking procedure identifies
the Internet Service Provider,
type of Operating System,
Graphics Display Information
and which Internet Browser
that is viewing the page,
along with the time and
date that the page is viewed.
It also monitors how many
times that a particular
machine visits our Web site,
however, it cannot relate
your computer's identity
to any personal information
such as a name, email, address
or phone.
Only
if required by law via subpoena
would we ask your Internet
Service Provider to supply
personally identifying information
to correlate with our tracking
data.
What
about "cookies"?
"Cookies"
are small pieces of information
that are stored by the
Internet browser on your
computer's hard drive.
Our cookies do not contain
any personally identifying
information, but are used
to store items in your
shopping cart between
visits. Most Web browsers
automatically accept cookies,
but you can usually change
your browser to prevent
that. Without
cookies, you will not
be able to shop with us
because our shopping cart
software currently requires
the use of cookies to
temporarily store the
items you've selected
for purchase.
If you are using IE5.5
or later with the new
"cookie management"
features, you will need
to have this set to receive

protect customer information?
Online
Store Collected Information:
When you "checkout",
we use a secure server to
process the remainder of
your order. The secure server
software (SSL) encrypts
all information you input
before it is sent to us.
Furthermore, all of the
customer data we collect
is protected against unauthorized
access as it is contained
on the "secure side"
of our server, and is only
there long enough for us
to process your order. Once
your order has been processed,
your personal data is erased
from our server. When you
go to the "checkout"
pages you should see your
browser's security icon
indicating our site is secure.
Your credit card number
and expiration date is not
ever stored on our server,
it is passed through to
your credit card issuing
bank via the
Verisign
Secure Payments System.
Call-In,
Mail or Fax Order Collected
Information: If
you place your order with
us via mail order, phone
or fax, you will be asked
to supply the information
necessary to complete the
financial transaction and
for shipping your order.
We collect such information
and process it via our in-house
accounting procedures. If
your order is being paid
via credit card, we authorize
and process the charge via
"secure software"
provided by the Verisign
Secure Payments System.
Will

to outside parties?
